ClosingspeechLadiesandgentlemen：ThesecondInternationalConferenceonApplicationofSmartConcreteisnowdrawingtoaclose.Iwouldliketotakethisopportunitytoextendoursinceregratitudeandappreciationtoallofyou,foryourinvaluablecontributionsinmakingthiseventagreatsuccess.Wehopethepastthreedayshavebeenfruitfulandthatyouwillbeabletomakethemostfromthesessionsyouattended.Throughawiderangeofkeynotespeeches,tutorials(专题报告),anddiscussions,wehavebeenpresentedwithnewwaystodealwithsomeofthechallengesinApplicationofsmartconcrete.Wehopethatyousharedyourexperiencesandexpertisewithotherparticipantsfromnearandfar,andthatacordialrelationshipestablishedamongusduringtheConferencewillfurtherstrengthen.ThroughthisConferencewehaveseenthattheApplicationofsmartconcreteisvitalforsecurityandlifetimeofthebuildings.TheApplicationofsmartconcreteisthekeyofconvenience,theessentialsymbolandrequirementofnewcenturybuildings.AswereturnfromthisConferencetooureverydayactivities,let’srememberthatwearepartofthesolutionlieonsmartconcreteapplication.Iamsure,thelessonslearntduringConferencewillequipustorespondtothecomplexityoftechnical,technologicalandtheoreticalchallengesinthewayofmakingourorganizationscompatibletorequirementsofwildapplicationsofsmartconcreteinthenewepoch.Onbehalftheconferenceteam,weowemuchtoourdistinguishedspeakerstoyou-theparticipantsandpresenterswhohavetakentimeoutofyourbusyschedulestoshareyourexperiencewithusthesedays.Manyofyouhavetraveledlongdistancestobewithusandweappreciateyourwillingnesstoopenlyshareyourknowledgeandexperiences.Forsomeofus,thishasbeenanopportunitytomeetwithouroldfriends,forothers,anopportunitytomakenewfriendswhoareworkingonsimilararea.Wehavehadachancetolistentosomeofthesessionsoverthepastthreedaysandwasverypleasedwiththequalityofthediscussionsthattookplace.Astheorganisersoftheconference,Iwouldlikeexpressoursincerethankstooursponsers,withouttheirsupportthiseventwouldn'ttakeplace.Wewishthemallthesuccessintheirwork.IalsoexpressourgratitudetoallmembersoftheOrganizingCommitteeandallstaffofsoutheastUniversityextendingexceptionalhospitalitytothedelegates(代表)andmaintaininghighstandardsofarrangementforvariouseventsoftheConference.Thankyouforyoureffortstothissuccessfulmeeting.AndIwouldalsoliketothankChairmanforhisablechairmanship.But,ofcourse,therealmeasureofthisconferencesuccessliesinhowitwillaffectyou-ourparticipants,ormoreprecisely,howitwillaffecttheactionsyouwilltakeafteryouleaveNanjing.We,atSouthEastUniversity,lookforwardtofurtherbuildingpartnershipswithyouandyourorganizations.Ihopethatallofuswillcontinuewhatwehavestartedherethesedays.OurnextconferencewillbeheldinNewYorkinMarch2015,andIlookforwardtomeetingyouthen.Thankyouandhaveagoodjourneyhome!
