PabloPicasso毕加索童年时期蓝色时期玫瑰时期立体主义时期古典时期超现实主义时期蜕变时期(在世界大战期间）田园时期PabloPicassowasbornonOctober,25,1881inMalagaSpainHestartedpaintinganddrawingataveryyoungagePicasso`sfatherwasalsoapainterhimselfandrecognizedPablo`stalentathisyoungageEarlyYearsHisfristpaintingatageof8(1889)ShortlyaftermovingtoParisfromBarcelona,Picassobegantoproduceworksthatweresuffusedinblue.Thisparticularpigmentiseffectiveinconveyingatone.Theblueperiodworkisquitesentimental,butwemustkeepinmindthatPicassowasstillinhislateteens,awayfromhomeforthefirsttime,andlivinginverypoorconditions.BluePeriodIn1905-6,Picasso'spalettebegantolightenconsiderably,bringinginadistinctivebeigeorrosetone.Thesubjectmatteralsoislessdepressing.HerearethefirstappearancesbythecircusperformersandclownsthatwillpopulatePicasso'spaintingsatvariousstagesthroughtherestofhislongcareer.RosePeriodThecollaborationbetweenPicassoandBraquewasendedbytheFirstWorldWar.Afterthewar,Picasso,reflectingsociety'sdisillusionmentandshockwiththetechnologicalhorrorsofthewar,revertedtoaClassicistmodeofrepresentation.Atthesametime,however,hewascontinuingtopushCubismintonewpaths.Duringthe'30sPicassobecametangentiallyconnectedwiththeSurrealistmovement.AlthoughAndreBretontriedtorecruitPicasso,heremainedultimatelyalooffromanyschoolofartthroughouthiscareerBetweentheWarsPicassowasthemostfamousartistintheworld.HewascalledupontodepictthebrutalityoffascistaggressionintheSpanishCivilWarwithhismonumentalGuernica”Inthelasttwodecadesofhislongcareer,Picassoproducedmoreworkthanatanyothertimeofhislife.Duringthisperiod,someworksarenotonlydatedbymonthandday,butwithanumeral(I,II,III,etc.)indicatingmultipleworkscreatedthatsingleday!LateworkThroughoutPicasso'slifetime,hisworkwasexhibitedoncountlessoccasions.Mostunusual,however,wasthe1971exhibitionattheLouvre,inParis,honoringhimonhis90thbirthday;untilthen,livingartistshadnotbeenshownthere.In1980amajorretrospectiveshowingofhisworkwasheldattheMuseumofModernArtinNewYorkCity.PicassodiedinhisvillaNotre-Dame-de-VienearMouginsonApril8,1973.
