GE.11-AgreementConcerningtheAdoptionofUniformTechnicalPrescriptionsforWheeledVehicles,EquipmentandPartswhichcanbeFittedand/orbeUsedonWheeledVehiclesandtheConditionsforReciprocalRecognitionofApprovalsGrantedontheBasisofthesePrescriptions*(Revision2,includingtheamendmentswhichenteredintoforceon16October1995)Addendum12H:RegulationNo.13HRevision1–Amendment5Supplement10totheoriginalversionoftheRegulation-Dateofentryintoforce:9December2010UniformprovisionsconcerningtheapprovalofpassengercarswithregardtobrakingUNITEDNATIONS*FormertitleoftheAgreement:AgreementConcerningtheAdoptionofUniformConditionsofApprovalandReciprocalRecognitionofApprovalforMotorVehicleEquipmentandParts,doneatGenevaon20March1958.E/ECE/324/Rev.2/Add.12H/Rev.1/Amend.5−E/ECE/TRANS/505/Rev.2/Add.12H/Rev.1/Amend.512January2011E/ECE/324/Rev.2/Add.12H/Rev.1/Amend.5E/ECE/TRANS/505/Rev.2/Add.12H/Rev.1/Amend.52Paragraph5.2.13.,thereferencetoISO9128:1987,amendtoreadISO9128:2006Paragraphs5.2.23.to5.2.23.2.,amendtoread:5.2.23.Whenavehicleisequippedwiththemeanstoindicateemergencybraking,activationandde-activationoftheemergencybrakingsignalshallonlybegeneratedbytheapplicationoftheservicebrakingsystemwhenthefollowingconditionsarefulfilled6:5.2.23.1.Thesignalshallnotbeactivatedwhenthevehicledecelerationisbelow6m/s²butitmaybegeneratedatanydecelerationatorabovethisvalue,theactualvaluebeingdefinedbythevehiclemanufacturer.Thesignalshallbede-activatedatthelatestwhenthedecelerationhasfallenbelow2.5m/s².5.2.23.2.Thefollowingconditionsmayalsobeused:(a)Thesignalmaybegeneratedfromapredictionofthevehicledecelerationresultingfromthebrakingdemandrespectingtheactivationandde-activationthresholdsdefinedinparagraph5.2.23.1above;or(b)Thesignalmaybeactivatedataspeedabove50km/hwhentheantilocksystemisfullycycling(asdefinedinparagraph2ofAnnex6).Thesignalshallbedeactivatedwhentheantilocksystemisnolongerfullycycling.
