INSTITUTECARGOCLAUSES(A)RISKSCOVERED1Thisinsurancecoversallrisksoflossofordamagetothesubject-matterinsuredexceptasprovidedinClauses4,5,6and7below.RisksClause2Thisinsurancecoversgeneralaverageandsalvagecharges,adjustedordeterminedaccordingtothecontractofaffreightmentand/orthegoverninglawandpractice,incurredtoavoidorinconnectionwiththeavoidanceoflossfromanycauseexceptthoseexcludedinClauses4,5,6and7orelsewhereinthisinsurance.GeneralAverageClause3ThisinsuranceisextendedtoindemnifytheAssuredagainstsuchproportionofliabilityunderthecontractofaffreightmentBothtoBlameCollisionClauseasisinrespectofalossrecoverablehereunder.IntheeventofanyclaimbyshipownersunderthesaidClausetheAssuredagreetonotifytheUnderwriters,whoshallhavetheright,attheirowncostandexpense,todefendtheAssuredagainstsuchclaim.BothtoBlameCollisionClauseEXCLUSIONS4InnocaseshallthisinsurancecoverGeneralExclusionsClause4.1lossdamageorexpenseattributabletowilfulmisconductoftheAssured4.2ordinaryleakage,ordinarylossinweightorvolume,orordinarywearandtearofthesubject-matterinsured4.3lossdamageorexpensecausedbyinsufficiencyorunsuitabilityofpackingorpreparationofthesubject-matterinsured(forthepurposeofthisClause4.3packingshallbedeemedtoincludestowageinacontainerorliftvanbutonlywhensuchstowageiscarriedoutpriortoattachmentofthisinsuranceorbytheAssuredortheirservants)4.4lossdamageorexpensecausedbyinherentviceornatureofthesubject-matterinsured4.5lossdamageorexpenseproximatelycausedbydelay,eventhoughthedelaybecausedbyariskinsuredagainst(exceptexpensespayableunderClause2above)4.6lossdamageorexpensearisingfrominsolvencyorfinancialdefaultoftheownersmanagerscharterersoroperatorsofthevessel4.7lossdamageorexpensearisingfromtheuseofanyweaponofwaremployingatomicornuclearfissionand/orfusionorotherlikereactionorradioactiveforceormatter.55.1InnocaseshallthisinsurancecoverlossdamageorexpensearisingfromUnseaworthinessandUnfitnessExclusionClauseunseaworthinessofvesselorcraft,unfitnessofvesselcraftconveyancecontainerorliftvanforthesafecarriageofthesubject-matterinsured,wheretheAssuredortheirservantsareprivytosuchunseaworthinessorunfitness,atthetimethesubject-matterinsuredisloadedtherein.5.2TheUnderwriterswaiveanybreachoftheimpliedwarrantiesofseaworthinessoftheshipandfitnessoftheshiptocarrythesubject-matterinsuredtodestination,unlesstheAssuredortheirservantsareprivytosuchunseaworthinessorunfitness.6InnocaseshallthisinsurancecoverlossdamageorexpensecausedbyWarExclusionClause6.1warcivilwarrevolutionrebellioninsurrection,orcivilstrifearisingtherefrom,oranyhostileactbyoragainstabelligerentpower6.2captureseizurearrestrestraintordetainment(piracyexcepted),andtheconsequencesthereoforanyattemptthereat6.3derelictminestorpedoesbombsorotherderelictweaponsofwar7InnocaseshallthisinsurancecoverlossdamageorexpenseStrikesExclusionClause7.1causedbystrikers,locked-outworkmen,orpersonstakingpartinlabourdisturbances,riotsorcivilcommotions7.2resultingfromstrikes,lock-outs,labourdisturbances,riotsorcivilcommotions7.3causedbyanyterroristoranypersonactingfromapoliticalmotive.DURATION88.1Thisinsuranceattachesfromthetimethegoodsleavethewarehouseorplaceofstorageattheplacenamedhereinforthecommencementofthetransit,continuesduringtheordinarycourseoftransitandterminateseitherTransitClause8.1.1ondeliverytotheConsignees'orotherfinalwarehouseorplaceofstorageatthedestinationnamedherein,8.1.2ondeliverytoanyotherwarehouseorplaceofstorage,whetherpriortooratthedestinationnamedherein,whichtheAssuredelecttouseeither8.1.2.1forstorageotherthanintheordinarycourseoftransitor8.1.2.2forallocationordistribution,or8.1.3ontheexpiryof60daysaftercompletionofdischargeoversideofthegoodsherebyinsuredfromtheoverseavesselatthefinalportofdischarge,whichevershallfirstoccur.8.2If,afterdischargeoversidefromtheoverseavesselatthefinalportofdischarge,butpriortoterminationofthisinsurance,thegoodsaretobeforwardedtoadestinationotherthanthattowhichtheyareinsuredhereunder,thisinsurance,whilstremainingsubjecttoterminationasprovidedforabove,shallnotextendbeyondthecommencementoftransittosuchotherdestination.8.3Thisinsuranceshallremaininforce(subjecttoterminationasprovidedforaboveandtotheprovisionsofClause9below)duringdelaybeyondthecontroloftheAssured,anydeviation,forceddischarge,reshipmentortranshipmentandduringanyvariationoftheadventurearisingfromtheexerciseofalibertygrantedtoshipownersorcharterersunderthecontractofaffreightment.9IfowingtocircumstancesbeyondthecontroloftheAssuredeitherthecontractofcarriageisterminatedataportorplaceotherthanthedestinationnamedthereinorthetransitisotherwiseterminatedbeforedeliveryofthegoods,asprovidedforinClause8above,thenthisinsuranceshallalsoterminateunlesspromptnoticeisgiventotheUnderwritersandcontinuationofcoverisrequestedwhentheinsuranceshallremaininforce,subjecttoanadditionalpremiumifrequiredbytheUnderwriters,eitherTerminationofContractofCarriageClause9.1untilthegoodsaresoldanddeliveredatsuchportorplace,or,unlessotherwisespeciallyagreed,untiltheexpiryof60daysafterarrivalofthegoodsherebyinsuredatsuchportorplace,whiche
