TheQueen'saddresstoParliament,20March2012英国女王伊丽莎白二世20日在国会对上下两院发表登基60周年(钻石禧年)演讲。女王在演讲中承诺，她将继续全心服务于国家。女王当日的演讲是庆祝其登基60周年系列活动的重要组成部分，英国首相卡梅伦及工党、自民党领袖等政要悉数到场聆听。伊丽莎白二世是英国历史上继维多利亚女王之后第二位在位时间超过60年的君主，女王在演讲中表示她感到非常荣幸和宽慰。而当女王提及她在位60年间经历了12任英国首相时，全场更是笑声一片。在演讲中，女王首先肯定了议会作为英国社会不可动摇的基石的作用。她说英国议会在英国历史和人民生活之中扮演了不可或缺的角色。女王在致辞中感谢了在位期间她的家人对她的支持，尤其是她的丈夫菲利普亲王给予她的陪伴和指引。而作为女王钻石禧年庆典的一部分，英国王室成员将会代表女王访问部分英联邦国家。女王相信这些访问将会拉近英联邦国家之间的关系，她以自己的亲身经验告诉大家，国与国之间的联系更多的是国家的人民之间的联系。MyLordsandMembersoftheHouseofCommons,IammostgratefulforyourLoyalAddressesandthegenerouswordsoftheLordSpeakerandMr.Speaker.Thisgreatinstitutionhasbeenattheheartofthecountryandthelivesofourpeoplethroughoutitshistory.AsParliamentarians,yousharewithyourforebearsafundamentalroleinthelawsanddecisionsofyourownage.Parliamenthassurvivedasanunshakeablecornerstoneofourconstitutionandourwayoflife.HistorylinksmonarchsandParliament,aconnectingthreadfromoneperiodtothenext.So,inanerawhentheregular,worthyrhythmoflifeislesseye-catchingthandoingsomethingextraordinary,IamreassuredthatIammerelythesecondSovereigntocelebrateaDiamondJubilee.Astoday,itwasmyprivilegetoaddressyouduringmySilverandGoldenJubilees.Manyofyouwerepresenttenyearsagoandsomeofyouwillrecalltheoccasionin1977.SincemyAccession,IhavebeenaregularvisitortothePalaceofWestminsterand,atthelastcount,havehadthepleasurabledutyoftreatingwithtwelvePrimeMinisters.Oversuchaperiod,onecanobservethattheexperienceofvenerableoldagecanbeamightyguidebutnotaprerequisiteforsuccessinpublicoffice.IamthereforeverypleasedtobeaddressingmanyyoungerParliamentariansandalsothosebringingsuchawiderangeofbackgroundandexperiencetoyourvital,nationalwork.DuringtheseyearsasyourQueen,thesupportofmyfamilyhas,acrossthegenerations,beenbeyondmeasure.PrincePhilipis,Ibelieve,well-knownfordecliningcomplimentsofanykind.Butthroughouthehasbeenaconstantstrengthandguide.HeandIareveryproudandgratefulthatThePrinceofWalesandothermembersofourfamilyaretravellingonmybehalfinthisDiamondJubileeyeartovisitalltheCommonwealthRealmsandanumberofotherCommonwealthcountries.TheseoverseastoursareareminderofourcloseaffinitywiththeCommonwealth,encompassingaboutone-thirdoftheworld’spopulation.MyownassociationwiththeCommonwealthhastaughtmethatthemostimportantcontactbetweennationsisusuallycontactbetweenitspeoples.Anorganisationdedicatedtocertainvalues,theCommonwealthhasflourishedandgrownbysuccessfullypromotingandprotectingthatcontact.Athome,PrincePhilipandIwillbevisitingtownsandcitiesupanddowntheland.ItismysincerehopethattheDiamondJubileewillbeanopportunityforpeopletocometogetherinaspiritofneighbourlinessandcelebrationoftheirowncommunities.Wealsohopetocelebratetheprofessionalandvoluntaryservicegivenbymillionsofpeopleacrossthecountrywhoareworkingforthepublicgood.Theyareasourceofvitalsupporttothewelfareandwellbeingofothers,oftenunseenoroverlooked.Andaswereflectuponpublicservice,letusagainbemindfuloftheremarkablesacrificeandcourageofourArmedForces.Muchmayindeedhavechangedthesepastsixtyyearsbutthevalourofthosewhorisktheirlivesforthedefenceandfreedomofusallremainsundimmed.ThehappyrelationshipIhaveenjoyedwithParliamenthasextendedwellbeyondthemorethanthreeandahalfthousandBillsIhavesignedintolaw.Iamthereforeverytouchedbythemagnificentgiftbeforeme,generouslysubscribedbymanyofyou.Shouldthisbeautifulwindowcausejustalittleextracolourtoshinedownuponthisancientplace,Ishouldgladlysettleforthat.Weareremindedhereofourpast,ofthecontinuityofournationalstoryandthevirtuesofresilience,ingenuityandtolerancewhichcreatedit.Ihavebeenprivilegedtowitnesssomeofthathistoryand,withthesupportofmyfamily,rededicatemyselftotheserviceofourgreatcountryanditspeoplenowandintheyearstocome.
