PersonalstatementIwouldliketofurthermystudyinyouruniversityasadoctoralstudent.Ifaccepted,myintendedprofessionaldirectionalsowouldbeMaterialscienceandengineering.IgraduatedfromSichuanuniversityofscienceandengineeringmajorinmaterialscienceandengineeringasaprovincialleveloutstandinggraduateinjune2015.Duringmycollegelife,Ihavewonanationalscholarshiphonorandthreetimesoffirst-classacademicscholarshiphonor.IwasadmittedtoChongqinguniversityforgraduateleaning,sincepassedtheunifiednationalpostgraduateentranceexaminjune2015.Now,I’mafirst-yearpostgraduatestudentinChongqinguniversity,majorinMaterialscienceandengineering.Ihopetobeaprofessorandhaveownlaboratoryandscientificresearchteam.Ofcourse,torealizethegoalisnoteasyandneedalongtimeeffort.But,aslongasIworkhard,thisgoalwillbetonearmestepbystep.Readingagreatnumberofliteraturesismyfirsttasktomakesmestandingontheshoulderofothers.Thus,Icanobtainenoughknowledgeaboutthefieldofmydirection,andthenmakesurethattheconsequentworkisnecessary.Meanwhile,summinguptheexperimentalmethods,analyticalmeasure,traditionalconceptandnewideaaboutexperimentalphenomenonismoreimportant,whichcouldgivemeamoresystematizedandcomprehensiveinsight.TomasterrelevantlaboratoryequipmentisanotherimportantthingIshoulddo.ThoughIcanfindtheoperatortoassistme,nomatterwhat,heorshecan’tbemoreawareofmineexperiment.Onlytheequipmentoperatedbymyself,canIensurethattheexperimenttogetthebestresults.Absolutely,onlytheactualactionmakesideareality.Therefore,afterformingideaofmyself,doingrelevantexperimentisnecessarytoverify,negatetheideaorfindsomenewideaandconclusion.Whenobtainnewinterestingdiscoveriesandidea,Iwillwritesomepapertosharewithotherscientificresearcher.Asayoungboy,Ilikesportsespeciallybasketball.Plyingbasketballgivesmealessonthattheteamcooperationmaybemostimportantandnoonecandoeverything.Ienjoybeingtrustedbymyteamandwillingtotrustothers.Besides,travelinginsomeplacewithbeautifulsceneryisnotabadchoiceforitcanletmerelaxedandhappy.Ilovelearningandeveryacquisitionofnewknowledgedrivesmetolearnmore.Likeotherchild,IdreamofbecomingascientistwhoisstandinginthenearestplacefromthegodandleadstheprogressofscienceandtechnologywhenIwasyoungandIhavebeentowardthisgoal.Withthedeepeningofthestudy,myenthusiasmtosciencehasneverbeenreduced.Incontrastdoingresearchtofind,explainandusetheruleoftheobjectiveworldalmostmakesmecreasy.However,Irealizethatjustbeingapostgraduateisfarfromenoughtoachievemygoal.Therefore,tofurthermystudyinyouruniversityasadoctoralstudentisagoodchoose.Ifaccepted,myintendedprofessionaldirectionalsowouldbeMaterialscienceandengineering.
