’slearningcareer.HighschoolEnglishlearningisacrucialstage.Basedontheabovecharacteristics,thispapertooklanguagelearningstylesofhighschoolstudentsasaresearchtheme.Thepurposeofthisstudyistostudytherelationshipoflearningstyles,learningstrategiesandEnglishachievement.Keywords:highschoolstudentslearningstyles;learningstrategies;learningachievement摘要近年来,学习风格和学习策略的研究一直是教学研究的热门话题之一。在全面推行素质教育的当今时代,对学习风格和学习策略的研究有着重要的意义。国内外都已经取得了显著的结果。但是大多数研究是针对中国大学学生的英语进行的研究,针对高中生的研究相对来说比较少。高中阶段是学习生涯中的一个重要转折点,高中阶段的英语学习也是至关重要的一个阶段。基于以上特点,本文把高三学生的语言学习风格和学习策略作为研究的主题。本次研究的目的是研究学习风格、学习策略和英语成绩之间的关系。关键词:高中学生学习风格;学习策略;英语成绩(1975),Gregorc(1979),Keefe(1979),Reid(1987)andothers.Learningstylesareinvolveddirectlyinthestudyofindividualdifferences.Onceitwasposed,peoplequicklypaidattentiontoit,andfruitfulresearchresultswereobtained.Westernresearchuncountablepertainingtolearningstylescanbedividedintoroughlythreestages:earlystudy(1950sto1960s),whichfocusedondifferentstyles,differentdomains,andstudieditscorrespondingcharacteristicsthroughdifferentcognitivestyles;recentstudy(1970sto1990s)whichshowedthatpeopleemphasizedtheusageofscientificandexperimentalmethodstostudyitsvariousfactors,revealingtheimpactsthesemethodshadonlearningstyles;andmodernlearningstyle(after1990s),whichpaidattentiontotheusagesofresearchresultsoflearningstylesinteachingjuniorhighschoolstudents,andguidedteachershowtoteachandguidedstudentshowtolearn.InChina,researchoflearningstylesbeganinthe1990s.Initialstudiesmainlyintroducedtheresultsofresearchfromabroad,andtheoreticallydiscussedthefurtherconnotations,featuresandcomponents,etc.Therearefourbasicviewsinacademiccirclesastothemeaningoflearningstrategies:①learningstrategiesaretreatedasasystemofimplicitrulelearning;②themapoflearningistreatedasthespecificlearningmethodsorskills;③learningstrategiesaretreatedasthelearningprocessandsteps;④learningstrategiesaretreatedasalearningprocess.Simply,learningstrategiesarewhatwecallThelearningmethod.Intheeraoffullycarryingoutqualityeducation,learningstylesandlearningstrategiesareimportant.Chinaandothercountrieshavemadesignificantprogress,butmostresearchisfocusedonChina'suniversitystudents,andtheresearchatthehighschoollevelisinsufficient.Asweknow,highschoolisanimportantturningpointinastudent’slearningcareer,learningEnglishinhighschoolisacriticalstage.Basedontheabovecharacteristics,thispapertakesthelanguagelearningstylesandlearningstrategiesofhighschoolstudentsasaresearchsubject.2.TheoreticFrameworkLearningstyleshavealwaysbeenusedinlearningmethods,learningtendenciesandlearningstrategiesinthelearningprocess(TANDingLiang,1999),theyincludethehabitof(TANDingLiang,1999).However,inou
