SpringFestivalLunarNewYear,themostsolemnoftraditionalChinesefolkfestivals.FirstdayofthefirstlunarmonthinthetraditionalChineselunarcalendar,knownastheMoon,commonlyknownasNewYearandNewYear.ThelonghistoryoftheSpringFestival,whichoriginatedintheShangperiodtheyeardrawstoacloseservicemenandthememorialactivities.AccordingtoChina'sLunar,thefirstdayofthefirstlunarmonthyenancientname,Yuan-chen,acopy,isEmperor,theNewYearDay,whichiscommonlyknownasDayoftheRepublic.switchtotheGregoriancalendar,thecalendaronJanuary1asNewYear'sDay,January1stcalledtheLunarSpringFestival.春节,即农历新年,俗称过年,一般指除夕和正月初一。但在民间,传统意义上的春节是指从腊月初八的腊祭或腊月二十三或二十四的祭灶,一直到正月十五,其中以除夕和正月初一为高潮。春节历史悠久,起源于殷商时期年头岁尾的祭神祭祖活动。在春节期间,中国的汉族和很多少数民族都要举行各种活动以示庆祝。这些活动均以祭祀神佛、祭奠祖先、除旧布新、迎禧接福、祈求丰年为主要内容。活动丰富多彩,带有浓郁的民族特色。InChina,themosttraditionalandpopularSpringFestivalfoodisdumpling,whichlookslikethemoonwithvegetablesandmeatmixedinit.TheChinesenameofdumplingis“JIAOZI”,”JIAO”means”cross”,”ZI”isChinesetraditionaltimerepresents“24:00”,sotheChineseword“JIAOZI”means“cross24:00”,justthedividingpointoflastyearandnextyear.Sowhenitcomesto24:00,everyfamilybeginseatingdumplings.TheLanternFestival(元宵节)ThelunarJanuary(农历正月)isthefirstmonthofayearand15thisthefirstdayoffullmoon.DuringLanternFestival,peoplegoalongthestreettowatchlanterns(灯笼)andchildrenlighttheirownsmalllanternsforsomefun.Thebiggestandmostbeautifullanternisthedragonlantern,whichlookslikeaflyingdragon,heldbyseveralyoungguys.Onewithaballinhandleadsthedragontomove.Somelanternshavepuzzlesonthem,calledlanternpuzzle(灯谜),theonewhogetstheanswercouldreceivesmallpresentsandbehappyforhisintelligence.ThetraditionalfoodforLanternFestivalisriceglueball(元宵).Thericeglueball’sshapeisjustlikethefullmoonappearsinthesky.Thiskindofdessertisespeciallywelcomedbychildren.元宵节的传统美食就是元宵啦。元宵的形状就像是满月出现在天空。这种甜品,尤其受儿童的欢迎。QINGMINGFESTIVALQingmingFestivalisatraditionalChinesefestivalonthe104thdayafterthewintersolstice(orthe15thdayfromtheSpringEquinox),usuallyoccurringaroundApril5oftheGregoriancalendar(seeChinesecalendar).Astronomicallyitisalsoasolarterm(SeeQingming).TheQingmingfestivalfallsonthefirstdayofthefifthsolarterm,namedQingming.Itsnamedenotesatimeforpeopletogooutsideandenjoythegreeneryofspringtime(踏青Tàqīng,treadingonthegreenery)andtendtothegravesofdepartedones.清明节是中国的传统节日,冬至后的104天(或15日从春分),通常在公历5月(农历)发生。同时它也是一个节气(参见清明)。落在第一天的第五个节气命名为清明,清明节。清明前后这段时间人们都会组织去踏青,而且多会去陵园看望已去的故人。THEDRAGONBOATFESTIVALTheDragonBoatFestival,alsocalledDoubleFifthFestival,iscelebratedonthefifthdayofthefifthmoonofthelunarcalendar(阴历).ItisoneofthemostimportantChinesefestivals,theothertwobeingtheAutumnMoonFestivalandChineseNewYear.端午节,又称为五五节,在阴历十五月圆后的第五天被庆祝。它是中国最重要的节日之一,其他两个分别是中秋节和中国新年。Dragonboatracingisanindispensable(不可缺少的)partofthefestival,heldalloverthecountry.Asthegunisfired,peoplewillseeracersindragon-shapedcanoes(独木舟)pullingtheoarshurriedly,accompaniedbyrapiddrums,speedingtowardtheirdestination.龙舟赛是不可缺少这个节日中不可缺少的一部分,在全国各地举行。当枪射击的时候,人们会看到车手在龙舟上慌忙的拉浆伴随着激烈的鼓声,奋力朝着他们的目的地前进。DOUBLESEVENTHFESTIVALTheDoubleSeventhFestival,onthe7thdayofthe7thlunarmonth,isatraditionalfestivalfullofromance.ItoftengoesintoAugustintheGregoriancalendar.Thisfestivalisinmid-summerwhentheweatheriswarmandthegrassandtreesrevealtheirluxuriousgreens.Atnightwhentheskyisdottedwithstars,andpeoplecanseetheMilkyWayspanningfromthenorthtothesouth.Oneachbankofitisabrightstar,whichseeeachotherfromafar.TheyaretheCowherdandWeaverMaid,andaboutthemthereisabeautifullovestorypasseddownfromgenerationtogeneration.•第七阴历的元月7日,七夕节,是一个传统节日充满浪漫。它通常在公历8月。这个节日是在盛夏,当天气暖和、草地和树木茂盛,满山果树。晚上,当天空被星星点缀的时候,人们可以看到银河系横跨南北。在银河的两岸有两颗璀璨的星星,他们可以看到彼此。他们是牛郎和织女,有一个美丽的爱情故事代代相传……STORYLong,longago,therewasanhonestandkind-heartedfellownamedNiuLang(Cowhand).Hisparentsdiedwhenhewasachild.Laterhewasdrivenoutofhishomebyhissister-in-law.Sohelivedbyhimselfherdingcattleandfarming.Oneday,afairyfromheavenZhiNu(WeaverMaid)fellinlovewithhimandcamedownsecretlytoearthandmarriedhim.ThecowhandfarmedinthefieldandtheWeaverMaidwoveathome.Theylivedahappylifeandgavebirthtoaboyandagirl.Unfortunately,theGodofHeavensoonfoundoutthefactandorderedtheQueenMotheroftheWesternHeavenstobringtheWeaverMaidback.Withthehelpofcelestialcattle,theCowhandflewtoheavenwithhissonanddaughter.Atthetimewhenhewasabouttocatchupwithhiswife,theQueenMothertookoffoneofhergoldhairpinsandmadeastroke.OnebillowyriverappearedinfrontoftheCowhand.TheCowhandandWeaverMaidwereseparatedonthetwobanksforeverandcouldonlyfeeltheirtears.Theirloyaltytolovetouchedmagpies,sotensofthousandsofmagpiescametobuildabridgefortheCowhandandWeaverMaidtomeeteachother.TheQueenMotherwaseventuallymovedandallowedthemtomeeteachyearonthe7thofthe7thlunarmonth.HencetheirmeetingdatehasbeencalledQiXi(DoubleSeventh).相传牛郎父母早逝,又常受到哥嫂的虐待,只有一头老牛相伴。有一天老牛给他出了计谋,教他怎样娶织女做妻子。到了那一天,美丽的仙女们果然到银河沐浴,并在水中嬉戏。这时藏在芦苇中的牛郎突然跑出来拿走了织女的衣裳。惊惶失措的仙女们急忙上岸穿好衣裳飞走了,唯独剩下织女。在牛郎的恳求下,织女答应做他的妻子。婚后,牛郎织女男耕女织,相亲相爱,生活得十分幸福美满。织女还给牛郎生了一儿一女。后来,老牛要死去的时候,叮嘱牛郎要把它的皮留下来,到急难时披上以求帮助。老牛死后,夫妻俩忍痛剥下牛皮,把牛埋在山坡上。织女和牛郎成亲的事被天庭的玉帝和王母娘娘知道后,他们勃然大怒,并命令天神下界抓回织女。天神趁牛郎不在家的时候,抓走了织女。牛郎回家不见织女,急忙披上牛皮,担了两
