AfterseeingthefilmTITANICT,whatimpressedmemostisthatthefilmisreallywellwrittenandIlovethewayitistoldinflashback.Itbeginswithagroupofpresent-daytreasurehuntersexploringthewreckageoftheTitanic(whichresultsinsomebrilliantunderwaterfootage).HoweverTheyfindnothingbutanoldsafethat'scompletelyemptysaveforadrawingofawoman.Anelderlywomansuddenlyphonesthemandsaysshe'sthewomaninthepicturewhichmakesthemsurprising.Shethentellsthediversandhergranddaughterthemainplotofthefilm.OnethingthatIreallylikeaswellabouttheflashbackformatistheediting.Eachtimethefilmalwaysshiftsbetweenthepastorpresentviaamatchcut,suchasavideoofthewreckageoftheTitanicinthepresentdaychangingintotheTitanicbeforeitleftin1912oraclose-upshotofýoungRose'seyetotheeyeoftheelderlyRoseinthepresent.Thecharactersareallreallywelldeveloped.Ilovehowthefilmmanagestoblendsomeoftherealhistoricalfigures(I.E.thecrewoftheTitanic)withfictionalcharacters(I.E.Rose,Jack)andyetitisstillincrediblybelievable,asifthisreallywasatruestory.ThestoryislargelyfocusedontherelationshipbetweenRoseandJack,butthefilmconstantlymanagestodevelopothercharacters.Eventhepresent-daycharactersarereallywelldeveloped.Thestoryisverywellwritten,andIlovethewayhowitchangesintonethroughout.Thefilmstartsoffexciting,withmanypeopleexcited,yetstillmanagestoportrayRoseinasomewhatsympatheticrole.AlargeportionofitistheromancebetweenJackandRose,butthefilmmanagestohavesomedramaticscenes,withalargesub-plotofthestorybeingtheconflictbetweenRoseandtherestofherupper-classfamily.Thefilmevenmanagestoincludeabitofhumourhereandthere,butdoesn'ttakeittoofar.Howevereverythingchangesneartheend,whenwehavetheiceberg,andallofasuddenthefilmbecomesverydarkandtragic.Theclimaxisveryimpressive.IttakesplaceoncetheTitanichitstheiceberg.Atthispoint,thefilmmanagestosuccessfullyshiftfocusbetweendifferentpeople.Itmanagestofocusontheprotagonists,butalsomanagestofocusonthechaosandtensionastheshipsinksandthecrewstruggletokeeporderandgetthepassengersoffsafely.Itbrilliantlymanagestocapturethetragedyandhorrorofthedisaster.Overallthismovieisacinematicmasterpieceandonethatyoudefinitelyshouldseeifyouhaven'talready.
