Unit9EverythingismadeinChina一、教材分析1.教学内容本课时系教材《英语2》(基础模块高教版)第九单元的第一课时,该单元主要是关于物品材料、产地和询问物品信息的话题,该话题与学生的生活联系密切,能引起学生的共鸣。第一课时的内容包括Lead-in&Listeningandspeaking两部分,主要内容是关于物品构成材料的词汇和购物的对话。这些内容为整个单元的学习活动做语言的必要准备,了解物品构成材料的说法以及复现、学习购物所需句型,同时也为完成本单元的任务做语言上的铺垫。2.教学重点、难点(1)教学重点①通过对寻找身边材料和观看图片,学生能听懂关于物品构成材料和商品信息的词汇与句型。②通过对话学习,学生能够进行顾客与售货员之间的对话。(2)教学难点学生能在真实的情境中进行顾客与售货员之间的对话。二、教学目标1.知识目标(1)学生能够掌握关于物品构成的材料和商品信息的词汇,如:glass,cotton,plastic,wood,stone,wool,silk,steel,leather,size,price,material,color,placeofproduction,design,bemadeof,medium,etc。(2)学生能掌握购物时所使用的句型,如:WhatcanIdoforyou?Whatcolordoyouprefer?Iwantalarge/medium/smallsize.Whatisitmadeof?Whereisitmade?2.能力目标(1)学生能听懂购物中顾客与营业员的对话。(2)学生能用基本句型进行购物对话。3.情感目标通过口语交流复习、深化购物用语并表达物品产地,体会身为中国人的骄傲。三、教学步骤StepI.GreetingGreetsthewholeclassasusualStepII.RevisionGetsthestudentstoreadthewordstheyhavelearntlastperiodaftertheteacher.StepIIILead-inTheteachertakesoutatoyandletthestudentstoguesswhatthematerialitis.ThenhaveabrainstormingTeacher:Whatmaterialsarethey?Askstudentstodiscusswhatmaterialstheycanfindaroundthemintheclassroom.Promotion:What’syourT-shirtmadeof?What’sthetablemadeof?StepIVWarming-up1.Matchtheobjectswiththeirmaterials.(Activity1)Theteachershowsthepicturesandwordsonthescreen,andatthesametime,hasacompetitionamonggroups,whichgroupgetsthehighestmarkisthewinner.2.Matchthequestionswiththeiranswers.(Activity2)Getsthestudentstomatchthequestionswiththeiranswers,thengetssomeonetotellhis/heranswer,laterchecktheanswerstogether.Theteacherandthestudentstaketurningreadingtheseshortdialogues.StepVPresentationTheteacherplaysthetapefirstandasksthestudentstolistencarefully,andpayattentiontotheunderlinedsentences.Readthedialogueaftertheteacherfortwotimes;trytomemorizetheunderlinedsentences.Theteacherexplainsthedialogueforthem,atthesametime,explainsthelanguagepoints.Languagepoints:1.lookfor本意为“寻找”,用在购物时译为“买”。2.bemadeof/bemadefrom意为“由…制成”。bemadeof能够看出原材料:如桌椅Tableismadeofwood.桌子是由木头做成的。bemadefrom不能看出原材料Paperismadefromwood.纸是由木头做成的。3.Large意为“大的,大号的”,缩写形式是L.Medium意为“中等的,中号的”,缩写形式是M.Small意为“小的,小号的”,缩写形式是S.4.dressingroom意为“试衣间,更衣室”。Group1and2read“A”,group3and4read“B”,laterchangetheirsequence.MaterialsLetssomepairsreadthedialogue.StepVIPracticeTheteacherandonestudentroleplaythedialoguebetweenacustomerandashopassistantwiththeinformationgiveninactivity7;laterthestudentsmakedialoguesinpairs,followingtheexample.Getseveralpairstoactitout.StepVIIHomeworkTalkaboutthethingsyouboughtrecentlywithyourpartner,usingthefollowingasasample.Sample:A:Iboughtanewscarflastweekend.B:Whereisitmade?A:ItismadeinJapan.B:Whatisitmadeof?A:Itismadeofsilk.
